IPSWICH TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB, NEW TRAINING FACILITYA designer’s vision, made in plant polymer.
For Ipswich Town’s new training facility, the interior designer had a clear picture of the lighting: a custom array of pendants, each cylinder hung at a different height to build a considered composition. LumiAdd’s job was to take that visualisation and make it real, exactly as drawn.
Each opal cylinder is built from our high-performance plant polymer blends, finished with an outer layer of plant polymer blended with reclaimed scallop shell taken from waste streams. The shell gives the surface a natural, distinctive character in place of synthetic pigments, and the result is a beautiful finish and a soft, even glow when lit.
Alongside the pendants, we supplied our Heilis downlights, chosen for their excellent efficacy and sustainable manufacturing processes. They carry a CIBSE TM66 Excellent Circularity rating and a low carbon footprint verified to CIBSE TM65. They came in a range of sizes, in black and white finishes, delivering 119 luminaire lumens per circuit watt with Ra90 colour rendering as standard. Emergency-converted versions of the same fixtures were included so the scheme stays consistent throughout.
Every piece was manufactured in the UK, exactly as the designer intended.
